Meet Rene!
Hi my name is Rene and I have been working at Van Boekel – Bofram for a long time. My journey started at the LTS, where I sat together with Paul van Boekel.
After school, I started my career at his father’s company, where I mowed ditches with a team of 3 men and repaired machinery in the winter months.
After a few years I went to work in the body shop, but in 1990 I returned to Van Boekel. As the company grew, my work shifted completely to the workshop. Here no machine was standard; everything was adapted to the customer’s wishes.
What I like most about my job is that I can contribute my ideas and come up with solutions to every problem together with the team. We completed many great projects and regularly faced challenging jobs.
In the meantime, the workshop has merged into Bofram, where I now focus mainly on construction work and building trucks to customer specifications.
Special machines and techniques always remain a fun challenge for me!
Bofram specializes in custom machine construction for directional drilling.
The units developed and built by Bofram are remote controlled. They supply the process with a controlled amount of bentonite to ensure smooth horizontal drilling and can be expanded with various options that make work in the HDD sector easier.
